Howdy. Jed is feeling pretty good. Today was Bingo day so of course he was up and ready by 10am! After bingo he played air hockey with a girl named Riley, she's 6 and they live near Delta! (that's not far from us) she has a form of lymphoma. I ran into another family up here who's son Alex, had AML, he finished his treatment around August but has recently relapsed, they are looking for a donor match. What a nightmare. Yesterday I walked into the rotunda and it was full of Amish people and in the middle was Barbie. She lost her daughter last May to Aml, yesterday would have been her 14th birthday so Barbie and her family came to say thank you to everyone up here...so nice. Jed loves the fact that she is Amish and her name is Barbie!!!!!
Jed looks good so we can't complain, compared to what goes on up here Jed is doing VERY well. He is a little pukey but that's the fun of chemo. Right now he is having school. She brought a computer game so he let her in! The last couple of times the teachers tried to come they wanted to read, he cried and threw a fit saying he was too sick. Amazing, show up with a computer instead of a book and he feels well enough to check it out!!!
