Hi. We are still here in the bat cave but Boy Wonder's counts have made a move up....very small but still in the right direction. His white count is .2 and his platelets have moved up also. Tomorrow if his white count is up more then we will be assured he is really recovering. Just need some neutraphils and then we will have an ANC. The only down side is that in order to make his counts come up they have increased his neupogen dose and that causes bone ache. Oh yipee. He is not feeling all that great, better in the evenings.
Late last night he filled out a menu for today. Instead of circling things he just wrote what he wanted. blueberry pancakes (blueberries on the inside not on top) and an egg and cheese biscuit. So this morning his breakfast show up and they really did make him blueberry pancakes with the berries on the inside! and they sent a biscuit, eggs and cheese! I was amazed. Of course he hasn't eaten any of it but I am saving the pancakes, maybe he will eat them for lunch! God only knows what he ordered for that meal.
I think that's about all the exciting news we have here. My Gram is to come home from the hospital today I think. Next week I need to be out of here to take her to consult with a doctor about her kidney. They said it must come out. Yuck. The hope is they can do it laproscopicly or however you spell that. anyway so that's what up.
