YOu do not know me and I do not know you. I have been following your blog ever since my freshman daughter from Gammi Phi Beta told me about Jed. Words cannot express pain you must feel. I watched the Thon this weeekend on Webcast and was overwhelmed by the love, wholeheartedness, and suppport from all the college students at Penn State. My daughter couldn't wait for this day, and after seeing what took place, I now know why.
As I watched and saw Jed's pictures on the webcam, I was overwhelmed with grief and sorrow, not for Jed, but for you and your family.Even though I do not know you, I feel a deep spiritual connection to you. I will continue to pray for you; hoping you have the strength and desire to get through each day.

My husband died of glioblastoma (Stage IV Brian Cancer) on May 17, 2007. His courageous battle lasted 7 months. It doesn't compare to your loss, the loss of your child. But needless to say it's still a loss.

My prayers and thoughts will always be with you.

I think I might have met you this weekend at Thon. I was there with my son, Thomas, who is 4 and has luekemia. I wanted to say I am so sorry you lost Jed and that your site is breaking my heart. The picture of Jed in the tub looks exactly like Thomas. Hope to see you next year at Thon.
